WEEK 5 Runners of the Week

With TVL 2, SAL 2, Cap Cross, and Stanford there were several superior performances even though there were a limited number of team in action.

ALAN GUERRERO (Modesto)-- he was my top preseason selection, won CCAL 1 and this week he placed 9th in the D1 race at Stanford in a PR time for 5K of 16:02. Without a doubt that is a noteworthy performance.

Taylor

TAYLOR SCHEUBER (Hughson)--with a very hard pressing Livingston team threaten to spoil Hughson's party at TVL 2, Taylor ran her best race of the young season to save the day. She placed 4th overall (3rd for Hughson) in a time of 22:49.

OTHERS I CONSIDERED
MIGUEL RAMOS (Hughson)--placed 3rd at TVL 2 to lead the Huskies to at least a share of the league title
EMILY FIFE (Hughson)--won TVL 2 leading her team to at least a share of the league title

CONNOR FARROW (Beyer)--won his 4th straight WAC dual meet
MADELINE TREE (Orestimba)--won SAL 2
JACK DUCHALA (Gregori)--35th at Cap Cross
MADDIE KACKLEY (Gregori)--won the seeded race at Cap Cross 18:13 for 5k

SPENCER JEPPSON (Gregori)--huge PR at Cap Cross 16:50 for 5K

JOEL CARDOZA (Downey)--huge PR for 5k at Stanford (16:48)
