WEEK 0--RUNNERS OF THE WEEK
I debated whether or not I was awarding ROW this week. Not many StanCo schools even ran. But ultimately I decided I was impressed with a couple of the performances and those athletes deserved some extra recognition.
MAVLEEN MANN (Pitman)--coming off of a great track season Mavleen didn't miss a beat in her first race. In the Pitman v Turlock Scrimmage to open the season, she was the first female finisher. Running an impressive 19:17, she beat all but 4 boys
JACKSON DUCHALA (Gregori)--after running F/S nearly all last season Jack leapt onto the varsity stage at the Lodi Flame Inv. He finished as the Jags #5 runner, placing 15th overall with a time of 17:20.
