2026 STATE MEET

The State meet can be that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, if an athlete performs successfully. Obviously not all athlete produce a max performance, and the State meet and perhaps their athletic career might end in disappointment.Each athlete has their own story and their own measure of success. As always I am only covering the races of the South SJS runners in the distance events.

  2. the times are getting faster and faster to the point that they seem "unreasonably" fast. You as a coach and me as an avid observer, we are going to have to adjust our expectations if we want local athletes to be able to compete.
