2025 Week 5 (SAL 2; TVL 2; Golden Eagle; Thunder Inv)

A lighter recovery week for many of the teams, but a few teams dipped their toes into the Woodward Park pool at the Golden Eagle Inv.

 

WED 9/24 SAL 2 @ River Bluff in Ceres

The competing StanCo teams were Waterford and Denair. Eventhough there are seven teams in this league, only 4 field XC teams; and the meets have basically become dual meets between Delhi and Denair. The varsity races were 5K.

The competing StanCo teams were Hughson and Orestimba. It was overcast and I little muggy. Then the lightning began. During the VB race it rained for about 5-10 min. The varsity races were 5K.

The competing StanCo teams were Patterson, Oakdale, Central Valley, and Denair. All runners in all divisions ran the same 5K course. Even though it was 90F it seemed warmer than that and you could see the effects of the heat on the runner's faces.
