2025 TRACK DIVISIONAL SECTION MEETS

StanCo athletes competed in D2, D3, D4, and D5 for the opportunity to qualify for the Sac Joaquin Masters Championship Meet this coming Friday/Saturday in Folsom. I attended the D3 prelims, the D2 Finals and the D4/5 Finals. So I managed to see a descent cross section of the local runners.

I haven't said much about these individual races but in this one Patterson's Francisco Hernandez got the short stick in the qualifying process. He was the fastest non-qualifier in any division. He ran faster than the D4 champion, faster than 11 of the qualifiers, faster than 13 of the finishers in last years Masters 3200m...but not fast enough to hit the at large qualifying mark.
