2023 XC Week 1 Runners of the Week and Team Rankings

Most weeks I will look over the results and select at least one male and one female runner of the week. These individuals receive a special StanCo Runner of the Week shirt.

RUNNERS OF THE WEEK

AVERY CARLSON (Pitman)--placed 3rd at the Screamin Scott Showdown, the first StanCo finisher. Her time was 1305 for the 2mi course to lead the Pride to the team title.

ZADEN TOVAR (Enochs)--placed 2nd at the Screamin Scott Showdown, the first StanCo finisher. His time was 10:55 for the 2mi course to lead the Eagles to the team title.

Others that I considered

Aubrey Lascano (Pitman)--placed 5th at the Screamin Scott Showdown

Madeline Van Steenwyk (Pitman)--in perhaps her best race in years she placed 6th at Screamin' Scott Showdown

Daniel Vang (Enochs)--placed 10th at the Screamin Scott Showdown to help the Eagles to the team title. In track last Spring he was barely a 5 min miler. Clearly he put in some major training over the summer. 

Jackson Olsen (Beyer) --placed 2nd at the Pleasant Grove Eagle Run in a 2mi time of 10:13.
