The season is starting to feel real, but so many of the teams have yet to run in a meet.. Here are a few highlights of the week.
TUE 8/22 CCAA 1 @ East LaLoma Park, Modesto
The competing StanCo team was Big Valley Christian. BVC had no female runners so I didn't stay for that race. There are no posted results

FRI 8/25 SCREAMIN SCOTT SHOWDOWN @ River Bluff Park, Ceres
This meet originally was conceived as a dual meet scrimmage between Atwater and Pitman. They named it after me to honor and recognize what I do. This year we were adding two more teams, which turned into 6 more teams--total of eight. It was such an awesome atmosphere as an evening meet with so many families able to attend. Next year this meet will be the last Saturday of August and will be sort of a County Clash type of event between Stanislaus and Merced Counties.
There were only 2 races (boys and girls) and everyone ran 2 miles.
