Injury and illness had a huge effect on the outcome this year. Gregori's Ismael Dominguez, Turlock's Logan Petty, Pitman's Daizy Gonzalez, Mason Oliveira, and Hughson's Joe Lighthall looked like shoe ins to make this team at points during the season, but injury and/or illness was the key factor that kept them off of the team. Additionally a few of the top underclassmen, who I think would have had a great shot to be voted onto this team, did not run varsity at the end of the season (as was the case with Modesto's Maya Wolfe last season). So Riverbank's Giselle Fernandez, Patterson's Natalie Arriaza, and Grace Davis' Jacob Nguyen I look forward to you running varsity next year so that you can be considered for this honor.
Over half of the members are seniors, so there will be a void left after graduation. This will also provide an opportunity for many first time members next year. Four of those seniors made the All StanCo team all four years. This is a very rare fete. So rare that Caleb Cavanaugh is the first male to achieve this honor. Lastly what will forever be unique about this group of seniors is they survived the entirety of the COVID shutdown. From spring of their Frosh year to spring of their soph year there was no competition. Somehow these seniors not only survived, but also they grew and thrived.
Well let's get to the team already, notice that the individuals who competed all four years have a special before and after collage.

The injury didn't occur during the season, but Mason Oliveira also definitely missed out due to injury.
