3/27 SAT COUNTY MEET at River Bluff, Ceres

Undefeated this season and County Champ Efren Sanchez

The idea was that since the teams wouldn't be able to compete in any invitationals this season, let's get all of the teams in the county together for a county championship meet. Awesome idea! Unfortunately it was scheduled during the Spring Break for the Modesto schools (although Davis managed to come). Also each league had their own timing for the end of XC and the start of track...so most were "done with XC and now we've moved on to track." Even several teams that put the meet on their schedules waited until the last second to decide to opt out. Well I say too bad for your kids. They missed out. Those that came experienced great weather, a well run meet, a legit course, and some quality competition. Hopefully there is a way for this meet to become a yearly event that turns into the real county championship that has been missing.
