WEEK 3 Runners of the Week

This was a very busy week with most StanCo teams in action and Cluster Meets for the VOL, CCC, and CCAL. That said there were some great performances to note.

HALEIGH HUMBLE (Oakdale)--as a Frosh in her second HS meet she won VOL 1 and led the Mustangs to the team title, an impressive debut indeed.

AIDAN WELLS (Gregori)--placed 6th at CCAL 1. helping the Jags to the team title. Last year at the same meet he placed 5th in F/S. This year he is 6th in varsity. His growth over the past year has buoyed Gregori to the top of the StanCo team standings again.

CRISTIAN SILVA (Modesto)--He placed 5th at CCAL 1, helping the Panthers to 2nd place. His time was a 1:02 improvement over the same meet last year.

CAMILA STEPHENS (Pitman)--as a frosh she placed 5th in her first CCAL cluster meet. Additionally she placed 10th at the highly competitive Josh Ruff Inv.


OTHERS I CONSIDERED
DUSTIN CHAVEZ (Oakdale)--placed 5th at VOL 1 and then placed 4th at Frogtown in the Large School Division.
CONNOR FARROW (Beyer)--won his second straight WAC dual meet
ALAN GUERRERO (Modesto)--placed 1st at CCAL 1 and 12th at Mt Carmel
SPENCER JEPPSON (Gregori)--at CCAL I he placed 4th . His time was an improvement of 66 secs from the same meet last year.
MAVLEEN MANN (Pitman)--won CCAL 1 in 18:17 (the #3 all time mark on this course. At Josh Ruff she ran 19:44 to place 5th.
MYRKA BANUELOS (Modesto)--placed 4th at CCAL 1, a 48 sec improvement from last year
EMILY FIFE (Hughson)--placed 4th at the ultra-competitive Woodbridge Invitational, leading her team to a very respectable 7th place.
MADISON KACKLEY (Gregori)--placed 2nd at CCAL 1 in a time of 18:25 that is the 6th fastest time ever over this course
