Not to be overshadowed by the Juniors and Seniors, Gregori's Madison Kackley won her F/S heat at Lowell. Her time was 13:42. Let's add some perspective here. There were some other very good StanCo runners competing at this same distance. Beyer Soph Athena Adamakis ran 15:03. Hughson's top Frosh, Camille Haupt was timed in 15:49. When Madison moves up to varsity on Wednesday she may even challenge teammate Briseida Garcia. The two of them together might have enough fire-power to get the Jags past MMC favorite Downey.

Gregori boys won the 2nd heat of the Varsity division. Had they been in the first race they would have been 6th (behind some of the State's best teams: Granada and Palos Verde). None-the-less, they have much to be proud of on their huge victory. On a side note runners 6-10 for Gregori may be the 2nd best team in StanCo. They (Gregori) have huge depth.
