2026 XC South SJS Distance Week 7 Runners of the Week

With two cluster meets and the Clovis Inv there were some great performances but the biggest variable of the week may have been the extreme heat.

ROSELYNN DOMINGUEZ (Modesto)--won CCAL 2 (and CCAL 1) on an extremely hot afternoon. Her 20:06.9 time over the River Bluff course ranks as #14 all time. She also competed in the D2 race at Clovis. She placed a very impressive 15th in 18:45 which ranks as #38 all time for south SJS.

CHELSEA CHAVEZ/AUBRI VILLA/GABRIELA HICKS (Golden Valley)--along with Fernanda Cortes and Katerin Ortiz Nunez they won CCC 2 and their combined team time of 1:36:47 at Clovis Inv over the Woodward Park course is the fastest girls' team time over the course by a South SJS team by about 90 seconds

TAYLOR REAMS (Oakdale)--placed 15th in the D4 Girls race at Clovis in 19:30.5 which was almost a 40 sec PR on that course
