2024 WEEK 7 Runners of the Week

With The MLL and WAC leagues seeing action and many teams running at the Tom Laythe, Artichoke or Amanda Garcia invitationals there were many quality performances to select from.

 

 JYMENA NGUYEN MARQUEZ (Grace Davis)--she won WAC 2 in 20:24.4 and is undefeated in league races. On Saturday at Artichoke she placed 2nd in the large school varsity race in 14:47.

 ABRAHAM SARMIENTO (Grace Davis)--he placed 4th at the WAC 2 meet in 16:40 leading the Spartans to a second place finish. At the Artichoke meet he placed 13th in the large school varsity race helping GD to a 3rd place finish. 

 LARSON WEJMAR (Turlock)--At Saturday's Tom Laythe meet he ran 16:53.4 (the second fastest StanCo runner) to place 22nd in the large school varsity race and lead the Bulldogs to a 5th place finish.

 JACOB NGUYEN (Grace Davis)--At the Artichoke Inv Jacob was the fastest StanCo male running 12:42 to place 8th in the large school varsity race leading GD to a third place finish. Earlier in the week he placed 7th in the WAC 2 meet running 16:53.5 helping GD finish 2nd
