This week was a mixed bag. The week began with a burst of much warmed air and ended with thunder storms. SAL 2 went much more smoothly than SAL 1. County Clash had to halt competition between the 3200s because of lightning. Weekend meet had some rain challenges.

FRI 3/22 County Clash @ Oakdale HS, Oakdale
The competing StanCo schools were Turlock, Pitman, Orestimba, Riverbank, Hughson, Modesto Christian, Beyer, Ceres, Grace Davis, Enochs, Gregori, Downey, and Modesto. This meet was far less than the some of its parts in that many of the best StanCo distance runners skipped the meet. Additionally rain was threatening most of the second half of the meet. During the boys 3200 it brief rained hard but it was the lightning that brought the meet to a halt right as the girls 3200 was set to begin. I left at that point
