2022 Week 5 Runners of the Week and Up Coming Meets

 

Four different leagues had cluster meets this week. There were some decent times and improvements. The fast times, I believe, will be this coming week for the six teams headed to the Roughrider meet at Woodward. This next Saturday is Hughson Supercross. The times won't be that meaningfu;l but with so many StanCo teams competing, I will be able to do some comparing. 

 

WEEK 5 RUNNERS OF THE WEEK

 

 LOGAN PETTY (Turlock)--placed 2nd at CCAL 2 17:01 for 5K a 6 place improvement from CCAL 1 and almost a 1 min PR for 5K

 

ISMAEL DOMINGUEZ (Gregori)--won CCAL 2 (and CCAL 1) running 16:57 for 5K

 ZOE LEACH (Downey)--placed 3rd at CCAL 2 in 20:01 for 5k. She also placed 4th at Pacific Grove Inv in 20:26 for 5K

 

VANESSA DIAZ (Modesto)--placed 8th at CCAL 2 a 9 place improvement from CCAL 1 and almost a 1 min improvement from the same meet last year. Her placing helped MoHi to the team title.

 

OTHERS THAT I CONSIDERED

KASSIDY FMURA (Oakdale)--won VOL 2 in a 5K time of 20:53

OAKDALE TOP 8 BOYS--swept the VOL 2 meet

EZRA ARMBULA (Hughson)--placed 20th at Pacific Grove solidifying him as the Husky's #3 man which they will need as they make a run for a State berth

GAVIN FLANDERS (Downey)--placed 8th at CCAL 2 a 7 place improvement from CCAL 1

 

UP COMING MEETS

10/11 CCAA/MVL 4 @ private ranch Balico. Competing StanCo teams are Big Valley, Turlock Christian, and Vanguard.

10/14 FRI ROUGH RIDER INV @ Woodward Park, Fresno.  Competing StanCo teams are Gregori, Beyer, Modesto, Oakdale, , Riverbank, and Turlock

10/15 SAT HUGHSON SUPERCROSS @ Hughson HS, Hughson. Competing StanCo teams are Hughson, Oakdale, Central Catholic, Downey, Grace Davis, Central Valley, Ceres, Big Valley, Orestimba, Johansen, Modesto, Pitman, Turlock, Vanguard, Waterford, Patterson, Denair, Enochs

10/15 SAT THUNDER CLASSIC @ Yosemite Lake, Merced. Competing StanCo teams are Central Catholic, and Turlock Christian
