It was a busy week with all StanCo teams (except Central Valley) in action. It was the last week before the "playoffs," so to speak. I went to meets three days in a row. If you didn't see me at your meet, it was because I was at a different venue. There was a mix of amazing and lack-luster performances, as many of the top athletes essentially cruised during their competition in preparation for next week.

This race was all about trying to break the school record in the 800 for Haleigh. The varsity boys and girls races were combined. It was the job of Caleb Cavanaugh and Dax Daley to set the pace and block the wind for Haleigh. The plan worked almost perfectly as Haleigh missed the record by a mere 0.15 sec.
