2021 WEEK 9 Runners of the Week

League Championship week is always a bonanza of great performances to select runners of the week from, and this past week was no exception.

 

HANNAH BETH NORMAN (Oakdale)--placed 4th at the VOL Championship meet in 21:35 for 5K helping the Oakdale ladies win the league overall championship

MASON OLIVEIRA (Oakdale)--paced 5th at the VOL Championship meet in a 5K time of 17:00 helping the shorthanded boys to the team victory

CHLOE COOK (Gregori)--placed 2nd in the CCAL Championship meet with a 3mi time of 19:44 leading the Jaguars to the team title

JACKSON OLSEN (Beyer)--ran 16:57 for 3mi to place 4th at the WAC Championship meet to help Beyer to the team title

ALBERTO ESQUIVEZ (Orestimba)--ran 16:41 for 5K at the SAL Championship meet to win the title

 

JAREN JOHNSON (Gregori)--placed 4th in 16:52 at CCAL Championship meet

 

Others that I considered

SIMON APPEL (Oakdale)--has been injured all season. His first race back he places 3rd @ VOL Championship meet in 16:25 helping the Mustangs win the title

SIENNA WILLIAMS (Big Valley Christian)--won the CCAA title with a 5K time of 25:52

ISABELLA DOMINGUEZ (Pitman)--placed 14th at the CCAL Championship in 22:16 which was an improvement of 2:04 from CCAL 1

VICTORIA ISIDORE (Turlock)--placed 12th at the CCAL Championship meet in 22:04 which was an improvement of 1:34 from CCAL 1
