2019 WEEK 0 RUNNERS OF THE WEEK
This is the first opportunity for me to recognize ROW for the 2019 XC season. I combined the past two weeks for this recognition. Even with that, only about 1/2 of the StanCo teams have done any racing.
What I've added this season is that I will also give the coach of the ROW a gift card for Fleet Feet. The coach may choose any athlete on the team to award this to based on the coach's own criteria. Again I am just trying to give back to the greater XC community and inspire those runners who may not have hit my radar yet.
Here are WEEK 0's StanCo Runners of the Week:
MADISON KACKLEY, 11th, Gregori
Maddi won the Varsity Girls division at last week's Lodi Flame Inv. Her time was an impressive 20 secs faster than her time over the same course last season.
EFREN SANCHEZ, 10th, Pitman
Efren won the Pitman @ Hughson scrimmage in a time of 10:10 over the 2 mi course. This was a PR of 27 secs over his best best track 3200m
