SAT 10/13 CASTRO VALLEY INV at Canyon Middle School, Castro Valley
Competing StanCo school was Gregori. This meet draws some teams from the Valley and many from the Bay area. It includes a lot of grass and a couple of rough hills. Traditionally it is not considered to be a "fast" course. It appears that several of Gregori's boys took the day off. Even with out their complete team both the VB and VG Gregori teams both placed a very respectable 4th place.

SAT 10/13 BRONCO INV, Johnson Springview Park, Rocklin
Competing StanCo school was Central Catholic. For some reason this meet moved from Willow Hills to a park in Rocklin. I know that the section has been looking for an alternate site to hold the section championship meet--perhaps this park may be in the running. There was both large and small school divisions, CC ran in the small school races.all varsity races were 5K.

SAT 10/13 HUGHSON SUPERCROSS, Hughson HS, Hughson 
Competing StanCo schools were Hughson, Ceres, Central Valley, Denair, Enochs, Waterford, Modesto, Oakdale, Patterson, Turlock, Pitman, Big Valley, Vanguard). This 4K course include running through a 10m mud/water pit twice and hurdling a number of hay bales. All races cover the same 4K distance. I have includes any StanCo runners that placed in the top 25 in Varsity along with a few runners from other divisions that ran fast enough to break into the list.
