It was a busy weekend for me with CCC Championship and CCAA college championship. However the up-coming week will be even busier as most leagues are settling up to determine which individual will move on to the following week's sectional championships.

SAT 5/5/18 CCC CHAMPIONSHIP, Golden Valley HS, Merced
Competing StanCo teams were Pitman and Turlock. The top 4 in each varsity event qualified to move on to D1 Sections at Elk Grove HS on 5/16 and 5/18.

With a bit of cloud cover in the AM it appeared that the heat would remain at a tolerable level...well by 11:30 the sun was in full force and by the end of the meet it was down right HOT on the track.

The story of this meet was the amazing double by Mavleen Mann (Pitman) who ran two PRs in both the 1600m and the 3200m. Her time of 5:04.65 in the 1600m is #11 on the all-time StanCo list. To top that, her 3200m time of 11:01.52 in #5 on the all-time list.
