WEEK 6 2018 TRACK (Downey @ Enochs; Sun Angel Classic; Arcadia; Thunder Inv)

Relatively speaking this was a light week. Some school were off for Spring break. Most school had dual meets during the week, however only a few have posted any results. Personally I attended the Downey @ Enochs meet. Obviously I couldn't be at the Sun Angel and Arcadia meets, but I closely monitored the results online.

This coming week could be a crazy one. There are meets I could attend Monday through Saturday. For my own sanity I won't be attending all of the available meets, but I will be busy none-the-less. Monday: Downey will be at MoHi for a make-up dual meet (assuming the track can dry out fast enough after the rain stops). Tuesday:  Central Catholic is at Kimball (along with Weston Ranch and East Union). Wednesday: Patterson @ Ceres, Gregori @ Beyer, Hilmar @ Riverbank, Escalon @ Hughson are some of the major dual meets; additionally Turlock and Pitman are at CCC # 2. Thursday is an all Middle School meet at Riverbank. Friday is an all Middle School meet at Turlock HS that is put on by Hughson. Saturday is the Hughson Vintage Inv. Also on Saturday Central Catholic is at Bearcat Inv and Gregori is at Bella Vista Bronco Inv. Yes there will be a lot of action this week if the weather cooperates.

This is a real "road trip" to get to a meet. Pitman travel to Tempe (it helps to know that the coach's daughter is going to college there). If an athlete competes well enough in the Thursday session they then qualify for the Saturday section of the meet.

Gregori and Turlock are the only two StanCo teams at Arcadia. In the Friday session it was only Gregori's Mason Reeves participating. There were three heats of his event. There results are the combination of the three heats.
