2026 South SJS Track Week 1 Results (Scrimmages, Red Run, Rust Buster, Viking)

Track is finally getting started just as our area's weather turns from dry and foggy to rainy (and cold)...I always tell my wife that it will start raining once track begins. Fortunately Friday 2/20 and Saturday 2/21 were both dry (but cool) days. This post marks the expansion of my coverage from the 23 StanCo schools to the 52ish South SJS schools. That means that I am spread a lot thinner than in past years. As I try to cover the greater number of schools reasonably equally, some of you will see me less than in past seasons and others will begin to spot me at their meets. Either way I will still be that dude in orange and black. If I over look/miss the results from your team at any point during the season please let me know and I will try and fix the omission. Generally I list results that meet certain times that I have in my head (2:10/2:45ish for 800; 4:50/5:50-6 for 1600; sub 11 and 13 for the 3200) as the season progresses those standards improve. 

 

WED 2/11 MOCK MEET @ Turlock HS, Turlock

The only competing South SJS team was Turlock. This was and abbreviated intersquad meet to get entry times for future meets.

The competing South SJS schools were Buhach Colony, Atwater, and Le Grand. In this meet they ran traditional college metric distances so 1500 (instead of 1600) and 3000 (instead of 3200).
