The All South SJS Distance (S-SJS-D) Team was voted on by coaches representing the leagues that make up the S-SJS-D region. Seventeen different coaches and three non-coaching individuals (like me) voted...that made twenty voters. I will also throw out that this is the highest honor that StanCo Distance gives out. Being named the S-SJS-D Runner of the Year essentially means that you were the best/top runner for the FIFTY-TWO schools that make up the S-SJS-D expanse.
