WEEK 5 2018 TRACK (CCC #1; Hughson @ RBK; MJC Invite; Stanford)

As the Modesto City schools were off this week, there were no MMC dual meets scheduled. The previous 2 weeks worth of MMC meets had been rained out, so some schools/athletes still had not had a meet to compete in. The MJC Invite was the first opportunity for some to compete. Additionally CCC #1 was the first chance for some very solid programs in the south section to size themselves up against each other.

This coming week, with better weather there should be dual meets happening. Specifically I am eying Downey @ Enochs and Modesto @ Gregori. Gregori has some distance kids competing at Arcadia next weekend too.

The teams of the CCC hooked up for the first time this season. In an expression of dominance the Merced distance runner swept the six distance events. Competing StanCo teams were Turlock and Pitman.
