Stanislaus County Distance: 2025 Week 9 (Hilmar Flatlands, Clovis North Twilight, Flat Sac, Mt SAC, CCAA College Champ)

This is almost a "dead" week leading up to next weeks league championships...but there were a few local teams in action.

The competing StanCo teams were Denair, Waterford, and Turlock Christian. Other local competing teams were El Capitan, LeGrand, Delhi, Linden, and Ripon Christian. The varsity races were 3 miles.

Denair was the only StanCo team. There were some other local area squads: Atwater, Golden Valley, and El Capitan. All races were 2 miles. Individuals ran in sections depending upon their placement on their team such as the #4 man on each team ran in the 567 race (with the #6 and #7 runners).

FRI 10/24 CCAA College Championship @ Hooker Oak Rec Area, Chico

The competing teams in the CCAA are scattered D2 schools throughout California and include Stan State, Chico, East Bay, Humboldt, SFSU, San Marcos... There were many competing former local HS runners. Oh and I went to and ran for Chico State some 42 years ago (can it really be that long ago?)
