With only three major meets you might think this was a slower week...but with 11 local teams at Rough Rider and 15 at HSC it was a big week by any standard.

It definitely felt warmer than the thermometer indicated and the times (compared to Clovis) seemed to be a bit slower because of that.

Turlock really surprised me considering they ran a hilly race with a gutsy first mile split. You could tell a lot of the kids in the large school division were feeling it later on in the race. We saw several people drop off and puking after the first 2 miles
