2024 PRESEASON ALL STANCO TRACK TEAM

 

The All StanCo Track works differently than the XC Team. To make the XC team you must be one of the top ten male or female runners voted in by the coaches. However to make the Track Team you must earn it by besting a certain time in a distance event. For the males the times are 2:00 (800); 4:30 (1600); and 10:00 (3200). For the females the times are 2:20, 5:25, and 12:00. Last year 20 individual runners met one or more of these standards...eight of those runners graduated. This is a listing of the runners I think are most likely to meet one or more of the standards based on track last Spring and XC this past Fall.

 

The two 800m standards seem the toughest to achieve.

Boys 800 (2:00)

There are no returning runners who met this standard last year.

Giselle and Maya both met the standard last year.

JYMENA NGUYEN MARQUEZ (Grace Davis) 10th--5:35.63 in a injury shortened season. Based on her XC times she is capable of going much faster.

The 3200m marks are likely the easiest of the three to achieve
