2023 XC Team and Individual Rankings

 The regular season is over. Next week begins the "playoffs" for XC. It all begins with the league championship meets. Most of these are on Wednesday. CCAA (Vanguard, Big Valley, Turlock Christian) runs Tuesday at Durham Ferry. The CCAL (Gregori, Enochs, Modesto, Downey, Pitman, and Turlock) runs at Tuolumne River Regional Park (Legion). The CCC (Patterson and Central Valley) will be at Golden Valley HS. The WAC (Johansen, Grace Davis, Beyer, and Ceres) will meet up at O'Neille Forebay. The TVL (Hughson, Riverbank, Modesto Christian) competes at River Bluff in Ceres. The VOL (Oakdale and Central Catholic) will run at Mistlin Sports Park in Ripon. Finally the SAL (Orestimba, Denair, and Waterford) will run on Thursday at Diablo Grande. Yep that is 23 different StanCo schools. I wish it were possible to be in more than one place at a time...I will be at the CCAA meet on Tuesday and the CCAL meet  on Wednesday. 

With the winding down of the seaso,n I would remind the coaches and runners that after Sections the coaches will vote on an All StanCo team that will consist of 10 males and 10 females. The results from the final three meets (League, Subs, and SJS) will be the primary determining factors. So athletes, your best effort in these meets may lead to some positive recognition
